Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in a Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility. The successful candidate will provide essential care to elderly patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Shift Details

• Shift Type: Evenings
• Shift Length: 8 hours (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
• Holiday Coverage: Rotation required during holidays
• Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Overtime: Available

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities.
• Monitor and record vital signs, report any changes to nursing staff.
• Assist patients in mobility and movement, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents at all times.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality care.
• Engage with residents and encourage their participation in activities.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state of Nebraska.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Additional Information

• Facility has 58 beds with a staffing ratio of 1:15.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically Point Click Care, is preferred.
• Location-specific orientation will be provided; shadowing of current staff encouraged.
