Activity Director

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Activity Director to join our dynamic team within a vibrant Independent Living Facility (ILF) community. This role is crucial in creating and managing engaging activity programs for residents, promoting their well-being and holistic health.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and implement a diverse range of activities and programs for residents.
• Collaborate with Rehabilitation Services to organize off-site trips and activities.
• Oversee the Activity Department staff and ensure an engaging and inclusive environment.
• Build strong relationships with residents and their families to enhance community connections.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the leadership team and other departments to foster teamwork and support.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make necessary adjustments to meet resident needs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in activity planning and programming, preferably in a senior living environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
• Creative thinking and ability to develop unique and engaging programs.
• Understanding of the needs and interests of older adults.
