Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient Rehab

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. This role is pivotal in supporting patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, post-operative procedures, and balance-related issues. The successful candidate will work closely with young athletes and individuals experiencing debility or falls.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one patient care in an outpatient setting.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with the physical therapy team.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
• Facilitate and promote balance and mobility recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress.

Qualifications

• Must have experience and competency working with orthopedic populations, young athletes, and post-operative patients.
• Experience in treating individuals with debility, falls, and balance issues is essential.
• At least 1 year of experience required; 2 years preferred.
• Current PTA licensure is required.

Work Schedule

This position operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a predictable work-life balance with no weekend requirements.
