Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum specialty. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to postpartum and antepartum patients, with a focus on both mother and newborn care.

Shift Details

• Contract duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3×12-hour shifts
• Rotating day/night shifts every 6 weeks
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday requirement

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to postpartum and antepartum patients.
• Float within the skill set, including care for level II nursery patients in the NICU.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in maternal and newborn care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Ability to float within designated areas as needed.
• Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license, with ability to submit with pending Virginia license.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system is required.

Additional Information
