Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical unit focused on providing quality care to patients with varied acuity levels. This position involves telemonitoring and remote monitoring for up to two patients at a time.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care and ensure the safety and comfort of patients.
• Monitor patient conditions remotely, ensuring timely response to any changes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding care and recovery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of nursing experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required, with the option to obtain ACLS pending.
• New travelers are welcome and encouraged to apply.
• Flexibility to work every third to fourth weekend.

Work Schedule

The position is night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week, from 19:00 to 07:00.

Patient ratios will vary based on the acuity levels and specific department needs.
