Job Description

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-specific, direct patient care through the Nursing Process.
• Provide nursing care within the established standards of patient care and specialty-specific guidelines.
• Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegating tasks to staff at various levels.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and healthcare policies.

Required Certifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
• De-escalation training

Additional Information

All required certifications must be active prior to the contract start date. If certifications are not up to date, applicants must schedule a course by the time of Clinical Orientation at the beginning of the assignment.
