Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. This position is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in high-risk neonatal care.

Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: 4×12 hours, Day Shift (07:00 – 19:30)
• Ratios: 1:1
• Weekend Requirement: 2 weekend shifts per month, variable schedule, flexibility needed

Unit Information

This position is within a 54-bed level III NICU that serves as a regional referral center for high-risk infants. The majority of patients are very low birth weight premature infants requiring ventilatory support. The unit is newly designed with state-of-the-art facilities.

Qualifications

• Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a permanent staff RN with at least 3 years of NICU experience in a teaching hospital environment.
• Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• First-Timers: Not accepted
• Pending License: Not accepted

Floating Requirements

• Floating within the hospital to Mother-Baby only for care of babies.
• No floating to sister hospitals.

• Block scheduling is not available unless specified otherwise.
• No scheduled call requirement.
• Local candidates are welcome to apply.
• Maximum of 1 week of requested time off (RTO) allowed per 2-week cycle.
