CT Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to provide excellent diagnostic imaging services. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing a variety of CT scanning procedures and will work closely with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans of various body parts, including head, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen, and pelvis.
• Conduct diagnostic imaging services for both inpatient and outpatient populations, adhering to departmental protocols.
• Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures and related imaging techniques.
• Maintain knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, and contrast media usage.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging processes.
• Work under the direction of Radiologists to provide timely and accurate diagnostic services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited AMA school of radiologic technology.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in CT.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a CT Technologist role.
• State licensure as a general radiographer is required.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Additional Information

Shifts will be scheduled for days on weekends, and there may be call requirements. The role involves performing a maximum of three scans per hour to ensure efficiency and timeliness in patient care. Familiarity with the Cerner electronic medical record system is preferred.
