ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring their safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management and care protocols.
• Rotate through different ICU units as required.

Qualifications

• Active New York RN license is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting is essential.
• Charge nurse experience is highly preferred.
• Candidates must possess current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
• Local candidates must reside within a 75-mile radius.

Shift Information

This position involves working night shifts, specifically four 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. Every other weekend availability is required.

Patient Ratio

The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 2-3 patients per nurse.
