MRI Technologist

Job Summary

This position is for a skilled MRI Technologist responsible for providing timely imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient settings under the guidance of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. The role requires a strong ability to adjust imaging parameters effectively for various studies involving soft tissue, the arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with or without the use of contrast media.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures efficiently and accurately on patients as directed by the Radiologist.
• Modify imaging parameters to obtain optimal views for diagnostic purposes.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain compliance with departmental protocols and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent MRI experience.
• Preferred: Graduation from an accredited AMA school and possession of a State License as a general radiographer.

Working Conditions

This position is full-time, with a shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM. The successful candidate must be prepared to start as soon as possible for a contract duration of 12 weeks.
