Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Special Procedures Technologist to join our Radiology department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for performing a range of vascular-interventional procedures with a strong focus on patient safety and care.

Position Information

• Role: Special Procedures Technologist
• Specialty: Vascular-Interventional Radiology
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
• Call Requirements: N/A
• Float Requirements: No

Required Certifications and Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Registered Technologist (RT) with Vascular-Interventional (VI) certification
• Preferably 1+ years of experience in a comparable role
• Knowledge of Vascular Operating Room procedures, equipment, and radiation safety is essential

Unit Information

• Equipment Used: Philips Allura X-ray Systems (2 rooms)
• EHR System: EPIC

Patient Population

Focus on adult patients requiring vascular-interventional procedures.

• Must Have Skills: Comprehensive understanding of vascular OR procedures, equipment, and radiation protocols.
• Personality Fit: Positive attitude with a collaborative approach to teamwork in an Operating Room environment.
• Educational Requirement: Vascular Interventional Boards (VI)

Dress Code

• Provided OR scrubs must be worn during shifts.
• Street clothing is acceptable outside the OR, but staff must change into proper attire upon entry.
