Occupational Therapist

Position Overview

The Occupational Therapist will provide rehabilitation services in an inpatient rehab setting. This position will involve working with patients to promote independence and improve their overall functional abilities.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: 08/16/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM; occasional early morning starts and one Saturday per month

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing patient recovery and independence.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient care and progress in the electronic medical records system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Knowledge of therapy techniques and best practices in rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records, specifically Cerner, is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Work Environment

The Occupational Therapist will work in an inpatient rehabilitation setting with a total of 16 beds. This position does not require floating to other units.

Dress Code

Grey scrub tops and black scrub bottoms are required.
