Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Tele

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiac Telemetry for a 13-week assignment. The position requires commitment to patient care during night shifts.

Job Details

• Shift: Nights, 1900-0700
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours (please specify on submission)
• Weekend Hours: As required by the facility
• Call Requirements: None

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 32
• Patient Ratios:
  • Days: 1:5-1:6
  • Nights: 1:6-1:8
• Equipment: Alaris pumps, telemetry, lift equipment
• EMR: EPIC

Responsibilities

The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients on the cardiac medical and surgical unit. Duties include:

• Monitoring and managing patients with cardiac conditions
• Administering medications and IV therapy
• Participating in patient and family education
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care

Qualifications

• Required Licensure: Current RN License in the state of Missouri
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS from AHA
  • 4 trauma credits (to be completed within the first two weeks of employment)
  • NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Preferred Certifications: ACLS from AHA
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Cardiac Tele
• Float Requirements: May float on a rotational basis
