Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Birth

Position Information

The position involves providing nursing care in the Labor and Birth department, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during labor and delivery. Candidates are expected to work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 15 labor beds, 7 antepartum, and 4 pre/postpartum
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 2:1, estimates not guarantees
• Equipment: External fetal monitoring
• EMR System: EPIC

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: BLS, C-EFM, NRP
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery at a facility with a volume of 350-400 births per month
• Preferred Skills: ACLS, PALS
• Ability to Float: May be required to float to postpartum as needed

Dress Code

Employees are expected to wear black scrubs. Please ensure that all attire is professional and in accordance with facility standards.
