Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Birth

Position Information

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Birth team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns during childbirth.

• Shift: Nights, 3×12 (1900-0700)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: As required by facility
• Call Requirements: None

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: BLS, C-EFM, NRP
• Years of Experience: 2+ years in Labor and Birth
• Float Requirements: May be required to float to postpartum

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 15 labor beds, 7 antepartum, and 4 pre/postpartum
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 2:1 (estimates, not guarantees)
• Equipment: External fetal monitoring
• EMR: EPIC

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2 years of experience in labor and birth at a facility that delivers 350-400 babies monthly
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, PALS
• A passion for maternal and newborn health
