Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN): M/S TELE

We are seeking a dedicated Acute Travel Registered Nurse for a medical/surgical telemetry unit. This position requires the ability to work guaranteed hours with weekend block scheduling. Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to individuals in medical and surgical units.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and post-discharge care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical/surgical telemetry setting.
• Current and valid nursing license.
• Required certifications must be obtained prior to start, with potential for additional certifications to be required.
• All clinical staff must pass state-specific checks, including the Tennessee Abuse Registry.

Additional Information

This position is essential in providing care to the community and involves working in a facility that employs over 1,000 staff members and 300 physicians. The facility is fully accredited and serves as a Level III Trauma Center.
