Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Medical Surgical for a night shift position. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to patients in a neuro-surgical unit.

Position Details

• Shift: Nights (7 PM – 7:30 AM), 3 x 12 hour shifts
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: As needed

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: Not specified
• Patient Ratios: 1:5-6
• Equipment: FIT test will be required on site
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): EPIC

Qualifications and Skills

• Required Certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year in inpatient acute care, preferably in neuro-surgical settings
• Must Have Skills: Willingness to take on occasional Charge responsibilities
• Preferred Skillset: Experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment and a strong ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Type of Patients: Neuro-surgical
