Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state regulations and established policies and procedures. This position requires strong critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and effective leadership to ensure the safe delivery of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans.
• Implementing and evaluating nursing interventions in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Maintaining clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
• Delegating patient care tasks according to staff education and experience.
• Providing direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
• Anticipating and planning for changes in patient conditions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of nursing experience, preferably in an Emergency Department setting.
• Current Arizona Registered Nurse license.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system is required.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations within the region.

Work Schedule

This position requires night shifts with rotating weekends.
