Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the operating room environment.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
• Monitor patient status throughout the surgical process and respond to any changes in condition.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system (Cerner).
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room setting.
• Experience in Robotics, General Surgery, GYN, and Urology is required.
• Previous circulating experience is necessary.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Schedule

This position offers evening shifts of 5×8 hours, typically from 1430 to 2300. Additionally, there may be opportunities for call rotation during weekdays and weekends.
