Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – L&D

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) for an exciting opportunity. This position involves working overnight shifts with the requirement to rotate weekends and participate in on-call shifts during the scheduled period.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to women during labor and delivery.
• Monitor vital signs and assess the conditions of both the mother and newborn.
• Administer medications and treatments as necessary.
• Assist with postpartum care and support breastfeeding education.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Active Arkansas or multistate nursing license.
• Current certification in ACLS, BLS, and NRP.
• Experience in postpartum care is preferred.

Schedule Information

This position requires night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other weekend required. Additionally, the candidate may be scheduled for on-call shifts.

Contract Duration

The duration for this travel position is approximately 13 weeks, with the possibility of further extensions based on performance and operational needs.
