Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC/Telemetry

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is accountable for providing high-quality care to patients through the application of the Nursing Process, in alignment with the state Nurse Practice Act and established policies and procedures. This role demands critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific reasoning in relation to patient situations.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and professional development.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Qualifications:

• Must hold current ACLS and BLS certifications (through the American Heart Association).
• Experience with ventilators, tracheostomy care, central lines, and wound care is preferred.
• Must possess a valid CO or multi-state compact RN license.
• At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience is required.

Patient Care Ratio:

The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6.
