Job Summary

The Clinical Lab Scientist is responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards within the laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests on biological samples, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
• Analyze and interpret test results, providing critical information for patient care.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Document all findings and maintain accurate records in accordance with laboratory policies.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to discuss test results and contribute to patient care plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field.
• Current certification as a Clinical Lab Scientist by a recognized agency.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and technology.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Work Schedule

This position requires a night shift, 4×10-hour work schedule, with a start time of 8:00 PM and ending at 6:00 AM. A total of 80 hours will be worked per pay period.
