Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department. This role requires flexibility for floating between different units as needed. Candidates should have a strong background in emergency medicine and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Experience Required

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience is required.
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience is required.
• Oncology experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
• EPIC experience is required.

Certifications

• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Essential Skills

• Proficient in intravenous (IV) starts.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring.

Patient Care Ratio

The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4.

Request Time Off (RTO)

Submission of Requested Time Off (RTO) is required at the time of application. 7 consecutive days off may be granted at the facility’s discretion for a 14-week contract.
