Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Position Details

This position is for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) on a night shift schedule, working three 12-hour shifts. The clinician will participate in holiday rotation and be required to work every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients across various departments, including critical care and labor and delivery.
• Administer prescribed therapies and treatments to improve respiratory function.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatment and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective care delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent critical care experience required.
• Possession of a valid South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license at the time of employment.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Ability to float to all areas of the facility as needed.

Additional Information

• Free parking is available for all staff.
• Charting will be conducted using Epic.
• During hurricane season (June through November), assignments may include emergency response duties.
