Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing quality patient care in both the Med-Surg and Outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide direct patient care and rehabilitation services.
• Educate patients and families about physical therapy programs and home exercise plans.
• Maintain accurate and updated patient records using electronic medical records.
• Float between Med-Surg and Outpatient services as needed.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state.
• 1+ years of experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, primarily Monday through Friday.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Additional Information:

• Work schedule is typically flexible, with a preference for 8 AM to 5 PM hours.
• Parking is available at the outpatient therapy clinic or in the hospital parking lot.
• Dress code: Any color scrubs are acceptable.
