Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

This position is part of a float pool for Medsurg units. The Registered Nurse will provide essential care and support to patients in the medical-surgical settings, ensuring their comfort and safety during their hospital stay.

Shift Details

• 12-hour Night Shifts: 19:00 – 07:30
• Availability for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend

Required Certifications

• BLS Certification

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical nursing role

Patient Population

The Registered Nurse will provide care primarily for:

• Adults
• Geriatric Patients

Medication and Documentation Systems

• Medication System: Omnicell
• Documentation System: Cerner
• Communication System: SBAR

Required Skills

• Comprehensive Med/Surg knowledge
• Blood Product Administration
• Peripheral Line Care and Management
• PICC Line Management
• Starting IVs
• Nasal Cannula Management
• Isolation Precautions Implementation

Specialty

This role will focus within the MS/Tele specialty, specifically oriented towards medical-surgical nursing.
