Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med-Surg unit. This position involves working 12-hour day shifts with a commitment of 36 hours per week. The RN will be expected to work every other or every third weekend as part of their schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Med-Surg setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

This position involves working 12-hour day shifts and requires availability on weekends every other or every third week.
