Radiologic Technologist – X-Ray

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-Ray services to provide mobile diagnostic imaging in various health care settings. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic work environment, delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will perform and process X-Rays and EKGs (if required) using portable digital and computed radiography equipment. Responsibilities include:

• Performing and processing X-Rays, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent images.
• Transporting portable X-Ray equipment into facilities and executing exams as ordered by physicians.
• Submitting and transmitting X-Ray images to a Radiologist for interpretation.
• Conducting EKGs as needed and transmitting results to a Cardiologist.
• Scanning and managing exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily according to established protocol.
• Maintaining regular communication with dispatch and management.
• Interacting professionally with peers, supervisors, and clients to foster a productive work environment.
• Maintaining the vehicle and X-Ray equipment to ensure optimal operational standards.

Shift Notes

Shifts may vary, including:

• Tuesday to Saturday (AM/Day)
• Friday to Tuesday (AM/PM)

Weekend Requirements

Weekend work will depend on case load and may constitute overtime if needed.

Physical Demands

The Radiologic Technologist must be able to push or pull weights ranging from 50 to 100 pounds, as equipment may vary in weight during transport within facilities or homes. The role may require exertion of similar force numerous times throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Must hold state licensure and/or ARRT Certification.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing required.
• COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory; exemptions must be documented.
