Role Overview

The Radiologic Technologist will provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other various locations. This position requires strong technical and interpersonal skills to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
• Unload and transport portable X-Ray equipment into facilities to execute exams as ordered by physicians, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent images.
• Perform EKGs as needed and submit results for interpretation by a Cardiologist.
• Daily scanning of exam-related paperwork and billing documents in accordance with protocols.
• Maintain regular communication with dispatch and management.
• Interact professionally and efficiently with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
• Maintain the vehicle and X-Ray equipment in optimal working condition.

Physical Requirements

The position demands the ability to push or pull equipment weighing between 50 to 100 lbs. The use of vehicle ramps and pulleys can alleviate these weights. Nonetheless, while operating within facilities or homes, the weight may increase, necessitating the capacity to exert 50 lbs of force or more multiple times throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Valid state license and ARRT Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license in the applicable state, maintained in good standing at all times.
• Vaccination against COVID-19 is mandatory, with exemptions subject to proper documentation.
