Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

This position requires the ability to float between various satellite Emergency Room locations within the region, including Goodyear, Camelback, Mesa, Glendale, and Surprise. The primary assignment may not always be at the same location, and schedules will be provided in advance for appropriate planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Room environment.
• Participate in SIMs Lab training, including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes (specific to role requirements).
• Complete necessary certifications and pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting.
• Maintain competence in essential nursing skills to ensure patient safety and effective care.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to meet the needs of patients.
• Uphold hospital policies, especially regarding the maintenance of sterile fields during procedures.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC (CPI preferred but not required).
• Proficiency in managing a 4:1 patient ratio.
• Previous experience in an Emergency Room setting is preferred.
• Ability to perform lab draws as part of nursing responsibilities.

Additional Requirements

• Must be capable of working 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend and holidays as needed.
• Must demonstrate capability in handling ventilator patients.
• Floating between different ER locations without prejudice; competencies will be validated through orientation.

Scrub color required: Galaxy Blue.
