Radiologic Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team. This position requires extensive experience and proficiency within the field of diagnostic radiology.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of radiographic procedures, including routine X-rays and fluoroscopic exams.
• Conduct both inpatient and outpatient exams, ensuring quality and accuracy in every procedure.
• Utilize C-arm technology for various procedures such as lumbar punctures.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while adhering to established protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology.
• Experience with operating room and fluoroscopic procedures is essential.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a schedule of 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. The role includes an expectation to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve).

Department Overview

The department averages around 150 exams over a 24-hour period, providing a vital service for both inpatient and outpatient care.
