Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist

Position Overview

This position is responsible for providing specialized diagnostic and therapeutic medical services on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist operates radiologic x-ray equipment and processes radiographic images in various medical specializations, including Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics, General and Orthopedic Surgery, Anesthesiology, Radiology, Urology, Optometry/Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, and Ear/Nose/Throat (ENT).

Qualifications

• Education: Successful completion of radiology training from an AMA approved school of Radiology is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the radiology field, including experience in operating teleradiology and fax equipment.
• Licensure: Valid Arizona State License in Radiology (R) and ARRT Certification in Radiology (ARRT R) required.
• Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.

Working Conditions

Contractor housing is available on a limited basis. Pets and family members are not allowed in contractor housing. Orientation for new hires is conducted every two weeks. COVID-19 and FLU exemptions may be accepted following the submission of a declination form.
