Physical Therapist (PT)

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist for a travel assignment. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic setting while enjoying the vibrant attractions of Southern California during your days off.

Assignment Details

• Duration of Assignment: 13 weeks
• Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with two weekend day shifts
• Setting: Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU)
• Preferred Experience: Experience in ARU is preferred; candidates with backgrounds in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) or acute inpatient settings will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physical therapy treatment and patient care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Assist in educating patients and their families on rehabilitation exercises and recovery processes.

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a relevant setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Meditech, is a plus.
