Registered Nurse (RN) – Neonatal ICU

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal ICU team. This position involves caring for newborns who require specialized medical attention.

Position Information:

• Role: RN

• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: Nights, 3×12, 1900-0700
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekend Requirements: As required by facility, every other weekend
• Call Requirements: No call required

Qualifications:

• Required Licensure: Current RN License (Eligible for licensure in the state)
• Required Certifications: BLS, NRP
• Preferred Certifications: TNCC, PALS
• Experience Required: At least 2 years of NICU experience, ventilation competency
• Float Requirements: Nurses may be required to float to PICU or Postpartum based on patient volumes

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 46
• Patient Ratios: Not guaranteed; typically 1:3 based on acuity
• EMR: EPIC

Perform direct patient care activities across all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort, adhering to established nursing practices and guidelines.

Additional Information:

This role requires orientation on day shift for the initial week. The candidate will engage with a diverse range of neonatal patients, including those born prematurely, infants with diabetes, and infants in respiratory distress.
