Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in Lakeport, CA. This position is aimed at providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to patients in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Work collaboratively with licensed occupational therapists to optimize patient outcomes.
• Evaluate and document patient progress and participate in team meetings to discuss care plans.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families on coping strategies and daily living activities.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.

Shift Information

• Full-time position with 8-hour day shifts.
• Holiday coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required.
• Ability to provide three references from the most recent employers.
