Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Travel Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a dynamic team in a skilled nursing facility. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver patient-centered care that focuses on enhancing functional independence for residents.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans for both short-term and long-term residents.
• Communicate effectively with the Occupational Therapist and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and applicable regulatory standards.
• Complete documentation in the Net Health system according to facility standards.

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) License.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities is preferred; mentorship opportunities are available for candidates with 0-1 year of experience.
• Strong documentation and time-management skills.
• Flexible and collaborative mindset.
• Preferred availability for a Sunday – Thursday or Tuesday – Saturday schedule.
