Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a Level 1 Trauma Center, particularly in Neuro and Ortho cases.

Job Details:

• Start Date: 10/25
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Night 3×12 Hour (18:45 – 06:15)
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility can call off 1 shift per every 2-week pay period
• RTO Restrictions: No more than 6 days off during the contract period
• Holiday RTO: Limited to 1 of 3 major holidays, with a preference for working Christmas

Responsibilities:

• Assist in a wide variety of surgical procedures within the operating room.
• Maintain a sterile environment and provide efficient patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Prepare the OR for surgeries, including equipment and instruments.
• Document patient care and surgical procedures using Epic charting system.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an operating room setting; Level 1 Trauma and Neuro experience required, with 3-4 years preferred.
• Certifications: BLS required.
• Skills: Circulating skills and experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center are essential. Previous experience with Ortho, Spine, and Neuro services is advantageous.
• Flexibility: Ability to work weekends and adapt to facility needs.
