Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum phases. The position requires flexibility to float to various units as needed, including Antepartum, NICU, and Postpartum/Nursery.

Shift Details

• Shift: Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: 3 night shifts per week, totaling 36 hours
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery.
• Assist in the delivery process and provide immediate care to newborns as needed.
• Educate and support patients and families regarding the labor and delivery process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) nursing.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN, and NRP.
• Epic experience within the last 18 months is required; must be detailed on your profile.
• Ability to float to Antepartum, NICU, and Postpartum/Nursery as required.
