Job Description

We are seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for night shifts. The position encompasses the following requirements and responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency room environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform assessments, plan care, implement interventions, and evaluate care effectiveness.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room RN experience is required.
• Recent acute care hospital experience within the last 5 years is mandatory.
• Oregon RN State License is required.
• Current certifications required include:
• AHA – BLS (Basic Life Support)
• AHA – ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), or obtain within 6 months of hire
• AHA – PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), or obtain within 1 year of hire
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), or obtain within 1 year of hire
• Organization-approved workplace violence training must be completed by the last day of the month after a 90-day grace period.
• CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) or equivalent certification is preferred.
