Occupational Therapist (OT)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for an acute care/skilled nursing position. This role involves working within a Magnet facility recognized as a Best Hospital, providing essential therapy services to patients in a collaborative environment.

Assignment Details

• Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: 4×10 or 5×8 Days
• Weekend Requirements: 2 weekend days per month

Schedule Preferences

The schedule primarily requires coverage on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. While the unit aims to provide a consistent schedule, it cannot guarantee three days off in a row, particularly with 4×10 shifts.

Qualifications

• Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year
• First Timers Accepted: Yes
• Required Certifications: BLS, NBCOT, AK OT License
• Skills Required: As per unit demands

Work Environment

This position is within an acute hospital setting, featuring a total of 407 staffed beds. The selected candidate will utilize Epic for charting, and scrubs will be provided. Free parking is available for all staff.
