Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred
• Previous experience in an acute care facility – Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice – Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor – Required
• AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification – Required
• S.T.A.B.L.E Certification – Required

Essential Functions

• Collect pertinent data regarding patient health and conditions.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans with prescribed interventions.
• Coordinate care delivery among healthcare team members and promote a safe environment.
• Evaluate patient progress towards achieving health outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide holistic care.
• Provide educational resources to patients and their families.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to nursing staff and coordinate duties effectively.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
