Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide coordinated nursing care for patients, ensuring adherence to established standards and the nursing process. This role involves supervising and directing the activities of nursing staff, while coordinating care with various healthcare disciplines.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will deliver comprehensive patient care by utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment.

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification: Required

Essential Functions

• Collect relevant patient health data and assess individual situations to determine diagnosis and care issues.
• Develop a comprehensive care plan that prescribes appropriate interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Implement care plans and coordinate delivery of care while fostering a safe and healthy environment.
• Evaluate patient progress toward achieving health outcomes.
• Identify and collaborate with patients, family members, and healthcare providers for optimum care delivery.
• Provide educational opportunities for patients, families, and team members regarding health information.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care for patients.
• Delegate responsibilities effectively and coordinate duties of healthcare team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
