Occupational Therapist (OT)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a Home Health role. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients improve their daily living skills through personalized therapy services.

Role Responsibilities

• Prioritize start of care visits for patients.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants as needed.
• Complete mandatory reporting for start of care visits by the next day.
• Ensure clinical notes and other documentation are submitted within 48 hours of each visit.
• Maintain timely communication with the supervisor, intake, and office staff.
• Be responsive during normal business hours to inquiries and updates.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in California.
• A minimum of one year of experience in Home Health.

Schedule and Training

This position requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. A training period consists of three full days, including one day in-house and two days in the field.

Documentation and Equipment

All documentation is managed through a designated system. You will be issued an iPad and Ring Central for communication and documentation purposes.

Compensation and Benefits

• Mileage reimbursement from the first to the last patient visit.
• Parking and toll expenses are covered.
• Option for a company car with a reduced billing rate.

Productivity Requirements

Occupational Therapists are expected to meet productivity standards of 30 points per week, with specific point values assigned to different types of visits, ensuring an average of eight hours of patient care each day.
