Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care to patients during labor and delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field.
• Five (5) or more years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery, within the last two years.
• One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years.
• High Risk OB experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to expectant mothers before, during, and after labor.
• Monitoring patient progress and responding effectively to changes in condition.
• Collaborating with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Educating patients and families regarding labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Participating in high-risk obstetric procedures and interventions as necessary.
