Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical services team. This is a travel position that offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality professional nursing care to patients in the operating room.
• Assist in surgical procedures and ensure a sterile environment.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and provide necessary interventions during and after surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to deliver optimal patient care.
• Participate in preoperative and postoperative assessments.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations.
• Assist in the orientation and training of new staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Ability to float to various surgical centers as required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Schedule

This position involves day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, with call requirements of one to two shifts per week.

Duration

This travel assignment is for a duration of 13 weeks, starting as soon as possible.
