Physical Therapist (PT)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality treatment and care for both inpatients and outpatients in a diverse clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patient needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to assist patients in regaining mobility and functionality.
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding rehabilitation protocols and preventive measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current Physical Therapy license to practice in Texas.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire and maintain currency.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting.

Work Environment

This role will operate in a 25-bed critical access facility that includes swing beds and features an ICU unit, Med/Surg unit, orthopedics, and a cardiac cath lab. The acuity level is classified as a Level IV trauma ER.

Schedule

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekend and holiday shifts as needed by the department.

Dress Code

Scrubs are required, with no specific color mandated.

Certifications

• BLS Certification
• DCI/BVP Certification
