OB Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced OB Registered Nurse with Med Surg experience to join our team. This role will primarily focus on both obstetrics and medical-surgical nursing within a small rural Critical Access Hospital (CAH).

Responsibilities

• Provide care to OB patients with a 1:1 patient ratio.
• Manage Med Surg patients with an average ratio of 1:3.
• Utilize CPSI/Perigen charting for patient documentation.
• Work in both OB and Med Surg departments based on patient care needs.
• Occasionally take on charge responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Critical Access Hospital is required.
• Must hold a current Kansas or Multistate RN license at the time of application.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required; all certifications must be obtained through AHA.
• Strong preference for candidates with prior travel nursing experience.
• Flu vaccination is strongly preferred; exemptions are accepted with masking during flu season.

Shift Details

The position requires working the night shift from 1745 to 0600, with varying responsibilities in both OB and Med Surg departments.

Any color scrubs are permitted for this role.
