Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team. The ideal candidate will work primarily in an outpatient setting, providing exceptional care to pediatric patients. This position requires a strong background in physical therapy, particularly in hospital-based and acute care environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient physical therapy services to pediatric patients.
• Conduct initial patient assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery and improve mobility.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of therapy sessions.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated on best practices.

Qualifications

• Valid California Physical Therapist license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Graduate degree in Physical Therapy (MS or DPT) from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital-based or acute care setting, preferably with adults.
• Experience in critical care, medical-surgical, or trauma environments is preferred.
• Ability to work weekends every 3-4 weeks.

Working Conditions

Scrubs and a white lab coat are to be worn as part of the professional attire. The position is primarily day shifts, working five 8-hour days from 08:00 to 17:00. Block scheduling is available.
