Rehabilitation Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

This role is for a dedicated and skilled Rehabilitation Nurse (RN) specializing in acute inpatient rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will play a vital part in the treatment and recovery of patients who have faced severe injuries or illnesses. The focus will be on providing ongoing care and specialized treatment throughout patients’ rehabilitation journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient condition, implementing individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation processes and goals.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Participate in recovery and rehabilitation program evaluations and improvements.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Work Environment

This position involves working nights within a state-of-the-art, 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility, ensuring the highest standards of care for patients recovering from various conditions, including strokes, brain injuries, neurological disorders, and more.
