Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting. This position focuses on the care and recovery of patients who have experienced severe injuries or illnesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the specific needs and goals of each patient.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Administer medications and therapies as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients and their families on the recovery process and rehabilitative techniques to maximize health outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in a rehabilitation or acute care setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care to those recovering from injury or illness.
